Position Details:
In addition to the important tasks of assisting with meal preparation, service, and clean up after meals while following safety and sanitation standards, this is an opportunity to work with some very talented people who have fun, enjoy their work, and take exceptional care of our residents and guests.
- Coordinate with residents, their families, and other customers to provide high quality salon services.
- Interact kindly, compassionately, and tactfully with residents, team, families, and the public.
- Ensure hair is thoroughly rinsed to meet hygiene standards and care requirements.
- Offer appropriate shampoos, permanent waves, hair color, and other requested services.
- Ensure all services are delivered to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Carefully adhere to the product guidelines to prevent damage to the customer’s hair and follow specific instructions for special care shampoos as prescribed by a physician.
- Assist in keeping the styling salon clean, pleasant, and visually attractive.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Sweep all hair from the floor immediately after each haircut and dispose of it properly
- Collect all soiled towels and deliver them to the laundry at the end of each business day for cleaning.
- Sanitize combs, brushes, rollers, and other reusable tools and ensure all tools are ready for use for the following business day.
- Proficiency in cutting, styling, coloring, and chemical treatments (e.g., perms, relaxers).
