Clinical Program Supervisor
to join our growing Outpatient treatment programs!

In this pivotal role, you will oversee our Outpatient treatment program, ensuring unparalleled support and guidance for our clients and staff.
Primary Purpose
Under the supervision of the program director, the clinical supervisor serves as the supervisor of all clinical aspects of the treatment program by directing, supervising and monitoring the work of clinical staff in the provision of treatment services and aftercare planning for assigned clients.
Essential Duties
- Collaborates with the program director and counselor(s) to determine a continuum of care for program participants.
- Directs program counseling staff in the day-to-day provision of client-centered, family-focused, trauma-informed services.
- Reviews curricula and other program materials for clinical appropriateness and approves the acquisition of all new curricula and other programming materials.
- Ensures that counseling staff have been trained in the use of any curriculum being delivered to clients.
- Supervises clinical staff in developing individualized and clinically appropriate treatment plans.
- Reviews and approves all clinical documentation (assessments, treatment plans, service notes, etc., per agency policy or protocol) and conducts regular quality assurance and quality improvement reviews to ensure that all appropriate record-keeping is performed on a timely basis.
- Assesses and evaluates staff; develops methods to use and enhance strengths and address any needed staff improvement.
- Address any client complaints or special needs of the client or family as indicated.
- Provides ongoing client surveys to identify changing needs and the effectiveness of services provided.
- Conducts regular chart reviews, ensuring that all appropriate record-keeping is performed on a timely basis and that all governing agency regulations are met.
- Attends meetings and participates in discussions concerning the revision, improvement and expansion of existing programs and offers recommendations.
- Participates in quality assurance, quality improvement and utilization review activities and makes recommendations to the program director for plans of corrections.
- Maintains program compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules.
- Initiates requisitions for hiring, participate in the interview process, make recommendations for hiring and develop onboarding training plan for new clinical staff.
- Coordinate & assign staff trainings within Relias Online Learning or to internal or external training events.
- Assures coverage of all scheduled activities (can include provision of group facilitation and other clinical work as needed).
- Attends staff meetings and works as a member of the leadership team.
- Manages staff timecards, including time off requests.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates and maintains a working relationship with all referral sources. Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience, Education and Credentials
- Master's degree in psychology, Social Work, or related field and/or relevant Bachelor's degree, the individual must be able to complete the relevant postgraduate degree within 3 years from employment start date.
- Three plus relevant years in behavioral health counseling; three plus years of supervisory experience.
- In addition to formal education, the qualified candidate will be certified as a CADC II. Also, holding their certification as a QMHP-C and/or being licensed as an LPC, LCSW, or having the ability to obtain it within two to three years is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and strong computer and time management skills are required to work effectively.
- An advanced understanding of ASAM PPC-2R and DSM-5 is required.
- An intermediate understanding of Oregon Administrative Rules is preferred.
- Qualified candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check.
