Summary: The Direct Support Professional will provide direct support services in activities of daily living to women who have substance use disorder and their children. This position may also cover staff vacancies, sick time, and vacant staff positions.

Schedule: Sunday 8:00AM-4:00PM, Monday-Wednesday 3:00PM-11:00PM (32 hours)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide support and assist individuals with all activities of daily living.
2. Create opportunities and provide support to individuals in making decisions to develop their skills and foster independence.
3. Provide services to individuals according to DPH, CARF, and all applicable regulatory standards, and Bridgewell policies and procedures.
4. Provide support and assist individuals with all medical, clinical, and financial needs as directed by the Program Manager.
5. Transport individuals as needed to and from medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program.
6. Maintain required documentation according to DPH and all applicable regulatory standards.
7. Assist the individuals with accessing resources and recreational opportunities in the community.
8. Administer medications according to Lotus House Service Line Procedure, as applicable.
9. Maintain all core training certifications as well as all BSAS-required training.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Experience:

1. Must have a high school diploma or GED.
2. 1 year of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or related fields is preferred
3. If in recovery, two years minimum sobriety required

Required Skills/Knowledge:

1. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
2. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
3. Valid driver's license and one year of driving experience.
4. Basic computer skills.
