BridgeWorks is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for a Machining Company in Greenville on 1st shift.
Position Summary:Shift: First (7 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday)
The Shipping and Receiving is responsible for preparing all inbound and outbound shipments, performing mechanical assembly of finished goods, and controlling finished goods inventory.
The ideal candidate must be motivated and able to multitask across multiple assigned projects and manage unplanned events. This individual must also be able to communicate with team members and demonstrate problem-solving, critical thinking, and prudent decision-making skills.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Shipping and receiving responsibilities:- Receive all incoming shipments.
- Verify count, condition, and paperwork is correct for all incoming shipments.
- Pack and prepare all outbound shipments per shipping requirements.
- Verify count, condition, and paperwork are correct for all outbound shipments.
- Schedule and route all shipments based on designated shipment requirements.
- Generate and verify the accuracy of all shipping documents.
- Visual inspect all incoming and outgoing shipments for defects as required.

Assembly operation responsibilities:
- Perform manual assembly of multiple details according to engineering drawings.
- Perform static weighing of individual part details.
- Perform pre-assembly activities such as kitting, staging, cleaning, lubricating, etc.
- Maintain work area clean, safe, and orderly.

Inventory control responsibilities:
- Monitors and maintains current inventory levels of finished goods.
- Maintains product data and ensures inputs are correctly entered in ERP.
- Ability to identify, communicate, and rectify miscalculations of inventory levels.
- Audit physical inventory levels as required (minimum once per quarter).
Requirements:- Must be able to sit or stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must have forklift experience and be able to pass a safety and proficiency exam.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Background/Experience:- Must be a “US citizen” as defined by the US Government and able to work without restriction with ITAR data.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
