WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS LEAD
Major food manufacturer is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead. This position is responsible for the day-to-day clerical and logistical responsibilities of the Warehouse Distribution Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in monitoring the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective implementation of inventory and logistics processes. This position offers paid time off; affordable health, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; and more. Competitive hourly pay salary of $22-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 2 plus years of warehouse operations experience.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required. For example, generating simple letters spreadsheets, basic data entry, and creating simple queries. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word preferred.
Forklift Driving Experience Preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
Self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision
Independent decision maker as needed to accomplish tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer all PER issues for all inbound and outbound loads.
- Outbound and inbound in-transit issues.
- Back up daily production/operations meeting reports.
- Investigating and planning the most appropriate route for a shipment, considering the nature of our products, cost, transit time and security.
- Negotiating freight transportation costs to meet margin requirements and ensure maximum profitability.
- Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customer requirements.
- Supervise the picking and preparation of orders for distribution, minimizing errors and ensuring timely replenishment.
- Coordinate the efficient dispatch of goods and returns to meet our company’s Supply Chain standards.
- Quickly learn software, technology, or new platforms effectively, including mobile apps, portable devices, and/or intraoffice communication tools.
