The Accountant reports to the CEO/President and CTO/Treasurer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
- Process deposits in QuickBooks
- Monthly closings
- Bank reconciliations
- Liaison with third party insurance
- Provide backup to payroll processing
- Assist with collection of receivables
- Book bi-weekly payrolls
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in accounting or relevant field
- Prior experience in an accounting role, especially in a non-profit environment
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks online and Excel.
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and problem-solving acumen
- Self-starter and disciplined, deadline driven mindset is key
Pay is based on experience. This is a hybrid role requiring some onsite work in our Woburn location. We are looking for someone who can commit to 20 hours per week minimum, performing relevant and critical (deadline-driven) tasks.
Salary : $35 - $50
