Our team is committed to bridging the gap of care to enhance individuals' independence, maximize their capabilities, and provide meaningful community inclusion by assisting and supporting their choices with regard to housing, socialization, learning, employment opportunities and recreational activities.
We are a small non-profit organization that works in the homes and community with people who have varying disabilities. We take "impossible" and turn it to "possible". We do everything from teaching individuals how to get a job, and taking individuals out on adventures, to providing much needed respite care and mentorship. Our individuals are between the ages of 3 years old-65 years old.
We're seeking a clinician to join our passionate team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality clinical services for a couple of young men on the autism spectrum.
Position Overview: As a clinician you will play a pivotal role in supporting these individuals with their independent living skills, helping them achieve their goals, and being a role model. Your responsibilities will include complete intake paper, completing assessments, working with the individuals in their home as well as out in the community, maintaining individual records, and assisting with supporting them through various challenges. This role requires a compassionate individual with excellent organizational skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding individual care. We are ideally looking for a full time candidate.
Key Responsibilities:.
- Assisting individuals with in-home independent living skills
- Finding and bringing individuals to community locations to work on skills
- Documentation as needed on goals and progress
- Completing intakes and assessments
- Completing protocols
- Meetings and other administrative tasks on behalf of the individual
- Willing to drive if needed and as ethically responsible when completing intakes/assessments
- Working as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Provide role modeling of appropriate behavior in all settings
- Assisting individuals with engaging in their learned coping skills when needed
Requirements:
- Masters Degree Required
- We encourage employees with a LSW, LMHC, Special Education, RBT, BCaBA, BCBA backgrounds to apply
- Previous experience in a clinical or home setting is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Commitment to Individual confidentiality and ethical conduct.
- Car and driving license
