What are the responsibilities and job description for the Math Tutor for Middle and High School Students position at BridgingGap USA?
CERTIFIED, LOCAL TEACHERS ONLY!
Bridging Gap USA is currently seeking certified teachers with excellent math skills to join our team as Math Tutors for students in middle and / or high school. As a tutor, you will play a crucial role in helping students improve their math abilities and achieve academic success.
This position is part-time and requires availability after school hours, as well as Saturday mornings if needed.
Responsibilities :
- Provide small group tutoring sessions in math subjects.
- Create customized lesson plans and teaching materials based on each student's unique needs and learning style.
- Identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to help students overcome challenges in math.
- Explain complex math concepts in a clear and understandable manner, using various teaching methods and resources.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Track and maintain accurate records of each student's progress and tutoring sessions.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff to provide updates on student performance.
