We are seeking to grow our Brien Contracting team by adding a Full-time Project Superintendent for commercial vertical and tenant improvement construction. Projects focused on Medical, Office, Hospitality and Industrial.
This person oversees and directs all activities on-site including: subcontractors and crews concerned with the construction of buildings, structures and improvements, in collaboration with project manager and Leadership Team to meet the client contract schedule and budget.

Job Details:
- Projects are in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure that work in progress conforms to contract documents and Brien Contracting standards
- Update / Manage / Communicate the requirements of the Project Schedule to maintain Critical Path Method execution
- Schedule subcontractors / Consultants / AHJ to maintain project requirements
- Hold intimate knowledge of plans and specifications for each project overseen
- Conduct pre-construction meetings with each subcontractor to review approved submittals and installation methods
- Identify deficient work and provide corrective feedback to teams or subcontractors in a timely manner, including documentation in ProCore
- Inspect each Subcontractor work prior to next Subcontractor starting work
- Reports any activities or issues which may affect the Project to the General Superintendent and Project Manager
- Leads weekly project schedule / safety meeting with subcontractors. Manage and review subcontractor-meeting minutes / maintain a look ahead schedule / maintain weekly safety audits in accordance with SOP
- Enforces all Brien Contracting policies and administers field activities in accordance with Brien Contracting procedure (eg: Pre-con Meetings, JHAs, Safety Forms, Blue Stake, etc.)

Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years commercial construction experience (project Engineer/superintendent/foreman) or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management; or acceptable combination of education and experience
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading
- Demonstrated problem solving, organization, and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & Adobe
- ProCore, Foundation & Blubeam experience is a plus yet not required
- Required: Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
