Job Description: Community Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Community Maintenance Technician is the upkeep and maintenance of Brier Crest Woods communal areas. This position requires availability during winter weather events, and hours may fluctuate depending on the season and workload.

Overview of Responsibilities:
- Execute assigned work orders and report status to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Maintain the community's landscaping, including grass cutting, trimming, tree removal, beach maintenance, and other assigned duties.
- Maintain the common areas of Brier Crest Woods, including setting up and breaking down for community events, providing janitorial services, and performing other duties as assigned.
- Perform Snow removal and salting of Brier Crest Woods as required in inclement weather conditions.
- Maintain order and appearance of garage and storage areas.
- Perform repairs as needed in common areas of the Community.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be 21 or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license and four years of driving experience.
- Ability to operate all Brier Crest Woods vehicles, including a Dump Truck.
- Ability to operate a Skid steer, Backhoe, and other equipment as needed; or willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Able to walk several miles per shift.
- Ability to work irregular hours during inclement weather, performing snow removal and salting.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
