Machine Operator

Briese Iron Works – Rochester, MN

Job Summary: Responsible for operation of CNC guided equipment in a production setting. This is a full-time position working 4 – 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday with mandatory overtime on Friday’s during peak construction season and possibly Saturdays as workloads dictate.

Position Reports To: The Director of Production and/or the Department Leader.

Position Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· Maintain machines in a good working order.

· Operating equipment in an efficient manner

· Ensuring parts are of high quality

· Read a tape measure down to 1/16” increments.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Specific Skills:

· Maintain a neat and organized workstation.

· Able to diagnose problems and come up with solutions in a timely manner

· Ability to think on their feet

· Ability to learn new machines in a timely manner

· Promote a positive working environment to achieve company goals.

Education/Experience/ Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED required.

· Must be able to read details/prints

· Must be able to add/subtract fractions.

· Must have experience operating CNC machines

· Must have valid driver’s license

· Must have reliable transportation.

Wages:

· Training Period (90 Days), $25.00

· Level 1, $26.00

· Level 2, $27.00

· Level 3, $28.00

· Level 4, $29.00

· Master, $32.00 (4 years minimum service at Briese Iron Works required)
