We are looking for an additional doctor to keep up with our steady, continued growth.

A four-day work week, 8 am-6 pm, with one Saturday shift per month, 8 am-1 pm
Full time preferred, but open to discuss part time or relief work

About You
You are:
A licensed DVM in good standing with the state of NC
A new graduate or a seasoned doctor with both medical and surgical skills
Committed to practicing high-quality, evidence-based medicine
Ready to both be collaborative with other veterinarians and to bring new ideas to the table
Willing to be a part of a tight-knit community of employees and clients that make our job a joy
Able to deal in a fast-paced environment with a good variety of challenging and rewarding cases
About the Practice
Brigadoon Animal Hospital has been serving the community for over 30 years. We are a privately owned practice that services dogs and cats. Our hospital features 4 exam rooms and ample treatment space for general and preventive medicine, surgery, and dental procedures. We make every effort to improve on our clinical capabilities and would be delighted to add to our service offerings if you possess unique skills. There is a boarding kennel on site staffed by kennel personnel so your assistants and technicians can stay focused on you. A lot of our clients are local members of the community that have been with us since our beginning and who have become like family. We proudly serve military members, active and retired. We have also become the go-to hospital for visiting vacationers and are the second DVM for many part-time residents.
About the Team
- Our staff consists of owner Dr. Lisa Morton, and two other DVMs, all of whom have more than 75 years combined experience. Our support staff of assistants/technicians, receptionists, and kennel assistants, all striving to make life at Brigadoon as seamless and stress-free as possible. We believe in our doctors being supported and free to practice medicine in a safe and friendly environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
