What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Technician position at Briggs Management & Associate?
The EXPERIENCE Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience in the cabling industry. RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to Pulling, routing, supporting, terminating, labeling, and testing low voltage voice & data cat5/5e/6/Copper/Coax. Establish cable pathways as described by industry standards. Install termination blocks, patch panels, and station hardware. Troubleshoot as necessary. Clean up the work site each day. Maintain compliance with all industry standards (NEC, TIA/EIA, BICSI). Adhere to all project safety requirements as established by the Company and OSHA. Maintain the Company's high standard of quality and professionalism concerning workmanship, customer relations, coworkers, behavior, and appearance. Check and follow the daily work schedule. Report to assigned work location on time and properly prepared with the correct hand tools. Train and direct Installers.
We are also in need of Fire Alarm Technicians with installation experience.
