Briggs Cafe is seeking a dedicated and passionate person to join our BOH team. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering high-quality meals to our customers. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, cutting, and measuring ingredients
- Cook and assemble product according to recipes and portion sizes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, oven cleaning, etc.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely meal preparation and service
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic knife skills and cooking techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed (one weekend day is a must)
