What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ambulatory OBGYN Staff Nurse position at Brigham and Women's Hospital?
Education
Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required for newly
licensed nurses.
Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts License] required
Experience
- Clinical nursing experience 3 years required.
- Previous IVF care coordination and triage experience preferred.
- Previous OR/PACU/moderate sedation experience is preferred.
- Previous experience and demonstrated skill with IV placement preferred.
- Previous IVF procedural experience is preferred.
- Experience in team-based care is preferred.
- Other: Membership in professional organizations is recommended, and certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
- Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.
