What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrophysiology Tech position at Brigham and Women's Hospital?
Educated and certified in one of the following ways:
a. Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited school of CardiovascularTechnology or related field
b. Graduated with an Associates Degree from an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology
c. Graduated with an Associates Degree from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology certified by the ARRT, and possess a valid license to practice as a radiologic technologist in thestate of Massachusetts.
2. Completion of BLS and ACLS certification within 3 months of employment preferred; within 6 months required.
3. Minimum three years of interventional experience preferred.
4. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCES) preferred.
5. No documented corrective action over the last year of employment.
6. Experience with precepting new employee(s) on at least one occasion preferred.
