About the Role
At Brigham City Community Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Surgical Technician to join our team. As an Operating Room Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care during operative and invasive procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist staff members during operative and invasive procedures while maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
- Ensure the operating room is adequately prepared for procedures and serve as a preceptor for other technicians as needed.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping and Central Processing staff to clean the Operating Rooms and equipment between patients, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in safety initiatives to guarantee correct surgery identification, verification of the procedure to be performed within the OR when the patient is present, and prior to surgical preparation.
- Count all sponges, needles, and instruments with the circulating RN on all surgical procedures conducted in the Operating Room, following facility policies and procedures.

Compensation
The annual salary range is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience.
