Job Title: Single Day Surgery RN PRN
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Single Day Surgery RN PRN. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about creating positive patient interactions and delivering high-quality care.
About the Role:
The perioperative nurse will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering care to patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures. The nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient outcomes based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate all nursing care for surgery patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
- Assess and address the physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual responses of patients caused by the prospect or performance of invasive procedures.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Support the hospital's vision and mission of customer service and quality care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Ability to practice nursing as described by the definition of the diagnosis and treatment of human responses to actual or potential health alterations.
- Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care.
