What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Sterile Tech position at Brigham & Women's Faulkner Hospital?
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Central processing experience preferred
Staff adheres to all C.A.R.E. Standards
Able to explain the decontamination, inspection and sterilization process clearly.
Must exhibit excellent customer service skills.
Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop and use stretching motions. Also be able to lift and or move over 25 lbs. specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color and the ability to adjust focus. May be exposed to hazardous chemicals or vapors.
