This is a fast-paced medical unit providing care for a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions
We see patients with acute and chronic conditions including but not limited to : asthma, psych, Detox, CHF, COPD, renal disease, DKA, DVT, flu, HTN, PE, pneumonia, sepsis and UTI
Utilizes a team approach in caring for patients - collaborating with physicians and other disciplines in developing individualized plan of care for each patient.
Encourages to acquire and maintain diverse and extensive knowledge and skills for professional growth and development.

Qualifications - External
- BSN is required
- Newly Licensed Nurses welcome to apply.
- Current licensure in Massachusetts as a registered nurse is required
- BLS certification required
- Med / Surg experience preferred.
- Adheres to allI C.A.R.E. standards.
- Must show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients.
- Demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities.
- Ability to function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must demonstrate effective skills in applying hospital standards in area of service, team work, communication, respect for others, and time / priority management.
