Certification Details BLS ARRT Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license Job Details Level 1 trauma and Siemen’s experience is required Operates CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images and information according to departmental protocol Delivers patient care under scope of license / training Calibrate and verify the operation of all equipment to be used during the work day Performs venipuncture for purposes of contrast administration under the direction of a radiologist Attend staff meetings, in-services, and maintains appropriate CEU's in accordance with Massachusetts State Licensure and A.R.R.T. requirements May oversee and instruct various personnel and technology students within the department Transport and transfer patients using established procedures according to departmental guidelines Uses independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative under pressure in a variety of situations when performing patient exams Job Requirements Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic technology Possess a current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license Registered or eligible for certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalent is required 2-3 years experience as a Radiologic technologist preferred with at least one year in cross-sectional anatomy courses Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical and / or emotional stress Additional Details A completed primary COVID-19 vaccination series that is approved by the FDA or the World Health Organization (WHO) OR an up-to-date COVID vaccine if a primary series was never received or completed is required. No exemptions or waivers (religious / medical) will be considered. Documentation of two measles vaccines, two mumps vaccine, and one rubella (German measles) vaccines or two MMR vaccines. OR Proof of immunity via blood test (will show antibodies if immune to measles, mumps, and rubella) Vaccine requirement if titer result is not immune or low immunity Vaccine required during flu season Sept 15th - April 30th.
