Certification Details BLS (as mentioned in additional_info, preference for AHA, will accept Red Cross) Massachusetts Nuclear Medicine Technologist license Job Details Nuclear Medicine Technologist position available covering PET / CT, General Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology, and / or Rb82 Cardiac PET, and evening and weekend on call for general Nuclear Medicine exams. Under general supervision and following established procedures, handles and administers radiopharmaceuticals and operates radiation detection and imaging equipment. Qualifications include graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology and the ability to remain up to date on developments and trends in imaging techniques, procedures, and equipment. Job Requirements Must be a graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology. Valid Massachusetts license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Must be registered or eligible for certification by ARRT-N or NMTCB and complete certification within one year of employment. Interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients. Schedule Information Includes evening and weekend on-call situations for general Nuclear Medicine exams.
