This is an exciting opportunity to join our facilities maintenance team as a custodial and maintenance service coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our campus facilities. You will perform deep cleaning services, general preventative maintenance, and daily walkthroughs to ensure the premises are safe and presentable.
Duties
Working Environment
You will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols. You will also be required to maintain confidentiality of personal student information by abiding by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Education and Experience

Duties
- Shampoo carpets, strip and wax floors, and pressure wash walkways and buildings.
- Follow a preventative maintenance cleaning schedule to ensure the facilities are well-maintained.
- Identify and report potential hazards or issues during daily walkthroughs.
- Provide training and guidance to student workers on proper safety procedures and protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls and work orders.

Education and Experience
- One-year certificate from college or technical school; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current Hawaii driver's license required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and explain complex concepts clearly.
