Job Description
The Auxiliary Services Communications Manager oversees communications, marketing, website administration, and knowledge base content for Auxiliary Services, which includes the University Store, Food Services, Print Services, Recreation Services & Resources, and the Student Health Center. This role ensures consistent branding, messaging, and user experience across digital and print platforms.
Responsibilities include collaborating with University Communications, Auxiliary Directors, and IT, managing website functionality and digital engagement, and supervising the student-led advertising and marketing team. The manager also directs promotional strategies, social media, and online marketing to enhance visibility and customer interaction across Auxiliary Services.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
Four years of professional experience in communications, marketing, and website management, including experience with CMS platforms, SEO best practices, and data analytics. Design experience is a plus.
Skills:
Supervisory experience and motivational/mentorship skills Professional communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Marketing, promotion, and customer service skills Website design and administration skills Strong interpersonal, analytical, and decision-making skills Adobe Creative Cloud experience and skills including Illustrator Word processing experience and skills with ability to adapt to new software Social media platforms knowledge and experience

Work Schedule
Regular Schedule: 8 hours per day, Monday - Friday
Weekend / Holiday / On Call: Occasional Saturday, holiday, and early/late shift (before 8:00 am or after 5:00 pm).
Travel: Minimal travel for professional development or networking
