Job Description
The Visual & Performing Arts Office Manager directly supports the college dean and associate deans to ensure the smooth operation of our college office. This manager efficiently manages a range of tasks, collaborating with multiple departments. The ability to streamline office procedures and adapt to each leader's unique preferences is essential. The office manager handles sensitive information with discretion, differentiating between relevant and irrelevant data. The office manager should have a welcoming, compassionate, and professional demeanor while working with students, parents, or other professionals and employees of the university.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Experience :
2 to 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills :
- Advanced administrative support skills with demonstrated proficiency in office management practices
- Excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills including experience in preparing letters, policies, procedures, reports, forms, newsletter articles and other academic documents.
- Strong technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational skills, including problem-solving, time-management, resourcefulness, planning, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to change.
