Required Degree: Ph.D. (or ABD) in Philosophy of Science, History and Philosophy of Science, Bioethics, or a related discipline.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience:
- Evidence of excellence in teaching and student engagement
- Experience or interest in interdisciplinary approaches to biology and ethics
Duties/Expectations:
- Teaching undergraduate courses in BIO 470 & BIO 370
- Contributing to the intellectual life of the department through mentoring, curriculum development, and service
- Supporting the university’s mission and engaging constructively with students from diverse backgrounds
This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
