The J. Reuben Clark Law Society is an international non-profit organization of attorneys and law students of faith, and is part of the J. Reuben Clark Law School.

WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS POSITION
The JRCLS Administrative Assistant principally provides administrative support to the Law Society’s Management Team in its core functions.
Responsibilities:
A sampling of job duties include:
Management Team & Board Support
- Manage Board communications, scheduling, and approvals of a sensitive nature; follow-up and communicate with high level Board minutes
- Provide support to international society members in 24 Areas, including for Area Chair Meetings and Worldwide Forum meetings
- Assist international Law Society members attending Law Society annual conferences and events with their travel plans, including coordination with the BYU Travel Office
- Support Law Society national and international events as directed by the Directors and Event Manager
- Book venues for various Law Society events
- Manage event-related provider contracts
- Under the direction of the Directors and Communications Manager, prepare marketing materials and brochures for the Law Society; work with graphic designers
- Provide support on Workday for entire Management team, including expense authorizations and reports, and travel authorizations and booking
Required:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree OR two years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree AND one or more years of related experience
SKILLS, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, ETC.
- Commitment to the mission and vision of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society
- High level of writing ability, including drafting communications and taking notes
- Sound judgment and sensitivity in working with high level attorneys and business partners
- Proficiency in working with websites and communications
- Working knowledge of social media and project management software
- Sensitivity with confidential records and information
- Ability to work independently and direct others when required
- Demonstrates strong collaboration and teamwork skills, fostering positive and productive working relationships.
- Highly developed organizational skills and efficiency
- Proficient with standard office software (especially Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps)
- Tech-savvy with the ability and willingness to learn and utilize new technology and tools
- Competent in graphic design, including Adobe InDesign and Canva
- Fluent in English and a foreign language
