Driver Job description

We are looking for a Driver to transport clients in a comfortable, safe and timely manner. Driver responsibilities will be to pick up the client and take the client to school and then pick up the client from school and take the client back home. Ultimately, you will help us increase customer satisfaction, the client and the clients parents depend on us for their transportation needs. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. You will be required to drive your car for pick ups and drop offs.

Responsibilities

• Pick up client from their house at 7:30am and transport the client to school(client has to be there by 8:00am). then pick the client up at 3:30pm and transport the client back home.
• The client lives in Zip Code: 46218 and the client's school is 9.5 miles from the client's home.
• Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage
• Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
• Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders
• Make sure there are no other passengers in the car
• Make sure you are on time for pick ups and drop offs
• Make sure to walk the client into school and walk inside to pick the client up.
• Make sure to check in with the supervisor of the client at pick ups and drop offs.
• Make sure any paperwork/documents that the client is given at school is transported safely to the clients parent.
• No Smoking, No drinking in the car
• You are NOT allowed to be on your cell phone while the client is in the car.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Driver
• A valid driver’s license
• A clean driving record
• Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
• A high school diploma

Job Type: PRN (as needed)

Pay: $10.00 each way

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
