Looking for an EXPERIENCED Assistant Teacher who is equipped and energized to lead our cubs!!

This new position and ideal candidate will help us bring new life to our childcare centers. The right candidate will have the opportunity to be an Assistant Teacher at our Academy.
Must be a high energy doer who is up for the opportunity and who is committed to bringing maximum energy everyday. This dynamic leader will grow the center program, build relationships with families, staff and the community.
This position will play a major role in the following areas of the center:
Assistant Teacher position is full or part time position dependent upon the needs of the Center.This support position works with the lead staff ensuring all state and federal requirements are followed, children are cared for, and the Academy is represented in a positive manner at all times. Work in close collaboration with families and coworkers, contributing to the development of a strong sense of community and the creation of an enriching learning environment that guarantees an exceptional experience for the children.
At the heart of our childcare philosophy lies the caregiver-child relationship, recognized as the cornerstone of a child's experience in our care. Through meticulously planned and structured lessons, assistant teachers will help guide children on captivating adventures filled with creative play.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Meet Assistant Teacher requirements outlined in Massachusetts
- Minimum high school diploma
- Prefer one or more years’ experience in the child care field.
- A recent CPR, Shaken Baby, SIDS, and Child Abuse and Neglect training certificate must be given to the office before working with children.
- Suitable BRC
- Child Abuse Record Information Background Checks
- Completed Staff Orientation
Physical Requirements
- Lifting and/or carrying (maximum 50 lbs), ability to stand for 95% or more of the work day
- Physical Coordination to maintain the repetitive motion of: Stooping and/or Bending, Kneeling and/or Squatting, Sitting, Pushing and/or Pulling, Overhead and/or Horizontal Reaching, Walking and/or Running, Climbing and/or Balancing on different forms of equipment.
- Effective hand-eye coordination and ability to read and interpret instructions
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
