Bright Beginnings Child Development Center is now hiring dynamic and fun support stafffor our School age, Preschool, Toddler, and Infant classrooms in Smith Center, KS. We are also offering part-time hours. We are looking for team members who are consistent in attendance and in executing job responsibilities.

Teaching children basic skills and teaching them valuable life skills such as:
- Communication
- Working with others
- Relationship building
- Creativity
- Preschool Skills
- Social/Emotional development
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years if age or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds and be able to get on the floor to play with children
- Lead teachers must have some experience teaching children in a professional, volunteer or faith-based setting. (If you don't have this experience, let us help you get it!)
All child care employees are required to pass a background check, have a negative TB test, pass a health assessment, are or will become Pediatric CPR certified, and pass other requirements. Training and certification time and costs are covered by Bright Beginnings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of young children.
- Manage classroom activities to foster a positive learning environment.
- Provide attentive childcare and ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and support special education initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior.
