Our Teachers stimulate and teach the children valuable life skills and create a positive, caring environment to help them accomplish their daily needs.
Teachers are responsible for planning and implementing weekly to bi-weekly lessons, activities and more!!
Bright Beginnings offers a Center Based Curriculum that enhances your teaching and leadership skills along with displaying your individual talents.
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain - we schedule lasses every 6 months.
- Shaken Baby Prevention training or willingness to obtain - have on-site training
- Willing to work flexible hours and assignments
- Good verbal, listening, and written communication skills
- Willing to learn new ideas and work well with others.
- The ability to lift up to 40 pounds is strongly desired and may be required
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Teachers are required to have at least two (non-credit) classes in early childhood or equivalent.
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood (Preferred)
- Become part of the Registry
