What You’ll Do:
As our Toddler Lead Teacher, you’ll help shape little hearts and minds through hands-on learning and compassionate care. Your day-to-day will include:
- Engaging toddlers in age-appropriate, playful learning activities
- Supporting positive behavior and social skill development with gentle guidance
- Encouraging independence while offering plenty of hugs and support
- Building trusting relationships with parents through open communication
- Planning creative, fun activities that foster development
- Keeping your classroom tidy, organized, and inspiring
- Observing and sharing insights about each child’s growth
- Attending monthly staff meetings to collaborate and learn with your peers
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking someone who is enthusiastic, caring, and ready to make a difference. You'll need:
- One of the following degrees or licenses:
Bachelor's Degree in Education (Early Childhood focus preferred)
Associate’s Degree in Education (Early Childhood focus preferred)
CDA (Child Development Associate)
- Classroom experience working with children
- A heart for children and a passion for helping them grow
- Dependability, emotional maturity, and a sense of fun
- Positive discipline techniques and strong communication skills
A Few More Essentials:
Before joining us, you’ll need to provide:
- Recent Health Assessment & TB Test
- PA DHS Child Abuse Clearance
- PA State Police Clearance
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- Proof of Education
- Two reference letters (with hours of child experience)
- Mandated Reporter & Health/Safety Training
- Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification
