Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Director to lead our early childhood education program that works together with the Global Methodist Church Ministry of Crystal River Community Church. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in education administration and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. As the Preschool Director, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment that fosters the development of young children while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role requires strategic planning and effective management to enhance the overall quality of the preschool program.
Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for children.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance educational programs and improve student outcomes.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and professional development to maintain high standards of teaching and care.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and community members to promote the preschool's mission and values.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial sustainability while maximizing resources for educational activities.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements related to early childhood education.
- Educate staff on best practices in early childhood development and curriculum implementation.
- Foster a positive culture within the preschool that encourages teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in education administration or leadership roles within early childhood settings.
- Strong strategic planning skills with a focus on enhancing educational programs.
- Excellent budgeting skills with experience managing financial resources effectively.
