Position Overview:
Bright Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated BCBA to join our team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with clients, families, and our clinical team to develop and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans. You will be responsible for conducting functional assessments, analyzing behavioral data, and ensuring the effective implementation of evidence-based ABA strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral challenges and their functions.
- Develop detailed behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to individual client needs.
- Design and implement behavior analytic programs using evidence-based strategies such as discrete trial training and natural environment teaching.
- Monitor and analyze client progress through regular data collection, ensuring treatment efficacy and adjusting plans as needed.
- Work closely with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistent application of behavior strategies across settings.
- Provide training, supervision, and ongoing support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff members.
- Maintain accurate, timely records including session notes, data sheets, and progress reports.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for review by clinical supervisors and external agencies as required.
- Stay current with research and best practices in applied behavior analysis.
- Participate in regular professional development opportunities and clinical supervision sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Minimum of [1 year] of clinical experience in applied behavior analysis, preferably with experience in ABA.
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
