ON-SITE Part-Time Tech Concierge – Independent Contractor (Up to 20 Hours/Week)

A Day in the Life: ON-SITE FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

As an ON-SITE Tech Concierge Specialist, you’ll make a meaningful impact on seniors’ lives by visiting clients in their homes to troubleshoot devices, teach tech skills, assist with purchases, and provide personalized support. You’ll document your sessions, maintain detailed notes, and schedule follow-ups to ensure lasting solutions. Position Details:

• Starting Commitment: 10-15 hours per week, with additional paid training during your first few weeks.
• Growth Potential: Hours are expected to ramp up to 15–30 hours per week within a few months.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers, smartphones, tablets, printers, smartwatches, TVs, routers, entertainment systems, sound systems, and more.
• Perform software updates, scheduled maintenance, and drive backups.
• Set up and configure devices, including email accounts and hardware.
• Provide tailored recommendations for software and hardware upgrades.
• Diagnose problems and deliver creative, effective solutions.

Client Interaction:

• Teach clients how to use their devices effectively.
• Adapt to clients’ cognitive and emotional needs with patience and empathy.
• Translate technical concepts into clear, accessible explanations.

Operational Excellence:

• Document actions and outcomes for each client session.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Manage time effectively to ensure reliable and punctual service.

What You Bring to the Role:

Technical Skills:

• 3–5 years of tech support or equivalent technical experience (preferred).
• Proficiency with multiple operating systems, including iOS, Windows, Android, and macOS.
• Strong troubleshooting and reasoning abilities.
• Familiarity with hardware and software solutions across a wide range of devices.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Exceptional patience, empathy, and understanding.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• A dynamic personality that fosters trust and rapport with clients.
• Intuition to interpret vague client descriptions and identify root causes.

Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel throughout the greater Phoenix area.
• Ability to pass a background check.
