Why the Dish Room Lead is important to Bright:

The Dishroom Lead is part of the team behind the scenes that make memorable moments come to life. As a Dish Room lead, you will support the Dishroom supervisor by providing direction to the team. The Dishroom lead ensures the work area is organized and clean to meet Bright operation standards. Other responsibilities and duties may be assigned to support projects and other departments.

About You:

• Dish room commercial high-volume dishwashing experience desired.
• Familiarity with warehouse, sanitation and cleanliness practices and safety compliance
• Self-motivated, willing to take initiative to complete the task, while being a team player willing to “jump in and roll up his/her sleeves” to help others.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and paying attention to detail.

Your Contributions to the Bright Team:

• Provide direction to the team when instructed by department Supervisor.
• Wash all tabletop equipment using our washing system
• Operate the industrial dishwasher
• Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
• Count, wrap, and stage inventory for outgoing orders
• Organize and store all clean products in appropriate locations
• Ensure the warehouse area is cleaned, organized, and that all safety procedures are being followed at all times
• Maintains cleanliness and follows sanitation practices by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Physical Demands and Abilities:

• Open availability including weekends and work overtime as needed to meet the needs of the business.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willingness to work in hot, humid environment and stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend
• Use of hands, bending, stooping, lifting, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
• Operate carts, dollies, and other moving equipment to move large quantities of inventory
• Pulling, lifting and pushing a pallet jack up to 100lbs or crates
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
