Teachers:
- Our teachers are responsible for maintaining a positive and safe learning environment for all children in the classroom and throughout the center. Our teachers are part of a teaching team that helps guide assistant teacher and is responsible for implementing our curriculum and policies, in addition to working with parents and assessing the needs of individual children.
- 1 year of licensed childcare experience
- AA Degree in Early Childhood Education OR see below
- Preschool/ School Age Group Leader Certification: 90hour Preschool Course, supporting breastfeeding course, ADA certificate, Basic Health & Safety Course, Covid training, 9hour communication course. Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification preferred as well. 45hour Infant & Toddler Course.
- Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
Pay for this position starts at $20.25 per hour, however, pay could be higher based off of your education and experience level.
Bus Driver- must have a good driving record.
Assistant Teacher/ Aide & Substitutes:
Our Assistant Teachers/Aides are responsible for assisting teachers as part of a team with the care and education of children, assisting in classroom activities, and supervising the safety and wellbeing of all children.
ALL Candidates MUST:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team player.
- Must be dependable and responsible.
- Must be willing to work with all age groups, including diapering and assisting with toileting.
- Experience in a childcare setting is preferred, but not required
- Must have a valid work permit, if applicable
Requirements for all applicants:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Complete a physical and TB test
- Complete fingerprinting and pass a criminal background check.
- CPR & First Aid Certification or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire date.
- Prior Child Care experience is preferred, but not required.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Have a valid work permit, if applicable
- Proof of trainings and certifications, if applicable.
- Be able to complete required Early Childhood coursework online and in class.
- Must have reliable transportation
