Job Overview
Bright Flag Recruiting is seeking a reliable and skilled FedEx delivery route courier to join our team in the Ontario area. As a courier, you will be responsible for delivering packages to local residences using step vans provided by the employer.
Salary Information
The estimated daily salary for this position is $136, offering a competitive rate for a full-time role with a 5-6 day workweek.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities as a FedEx delivery route courier include:
- Arriving at the Ontario terminal to pick up the vehicle and packages;
- Loading and unloading packages from the truck;
- Delivering packages to the destination;
- Scanning and logging packages;
You will be working Monday through Saturday, with typical hours between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., or until route completion.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Previous job-related driving experience is preferred but not required; military driving, taxi, UPS, Amazon, landscape driver, and previous FedEx companies' experiences are acceptable;
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record;
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older;
- Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical/Physical Exam (employer reimbursement provided);
- Background check required;
- Physically able to move packages up to 150 Ibs with a dolly;
- Ability to deliver 150 stops per day;
