**Pay is negotiable based on experience**
Duties & Responsilities
· Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code.
· Bends and installs conduit, installs lighting and basic control systems.
· Performs wire and cable pulls.
· Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels, switchboards, transformers, and motor control centers.
· Plans layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on project drawings, specifications, and National Electrical Code.
· Works from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
· Perform physically demanding task such as digging trenches, and moving and lifting heavy objects.
· Works without direct supervision and helps lead apprentices.
· Provides teaching, coaching, and mentoring to apprentices.
· Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
· Must be proficient in English.
Qualifications, Education, Competencies, & Skills
Position requires a strong knowledge in the recent National Electrical Code and must be proficient at reading and following blueprints, electrical schematics, and project specifications. Individual must demonstrate a focus on safety, quality, customer service, and operate with honesty and integrity. Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Person should demonstrate solid planning, organizing, time management, communication and problem solving skills. It is essential they be self-driven, reliable, and able to work independently even under pressure.
