What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher/Floater position at Bright Futures Early Learning Center?
Bright Futures Early Learning Center provides high quality childcare and early learning programs to children ages six weeks to five years old. We are focused on improving the kindergarten readiness rate in our community by assisting families with developing foundations for educational success.
We are licensed by the Florida Department of Children & Families, a School Readiness provider through the Early Learning Coalition of Santa Rosa County, a Military Child Care in your Neighborhood provider, and Child Care Aware of America provider.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Background Check
- CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred
- Florida Staff Credential Preferred

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a classroom of children including a daily schedule and transition times that encourages a child’s learning through discovery, curiosity, creativity, and a healthy self-concept that leads to school readiness
- Create and maintain safe and healthy learning environments for children with appropriate arrangement of materials, space, and supplies
- Provide basic care and caregiving activities
- Observe children’s interactions and evaluate each child's development
- Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
