Job Summary
The Child Care Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the child care facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the child care program, including curriculum development and implementation.
- Supervise and support staff, providing training and professional development opportunities.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and the community to promote engagement and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures that support the mission of the facility.
- Monitor children's progress and implement strategies to enhance their learning experiences.
- Collaborate with other educational institutions to create pathways for higher education opportunities for children.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with students in a child care or educational environment.
- at least 10 years childcare experience
- Meet all DECAL requirements for Childcare Director
- Strong knowledge of education administration principles.
- Experience in higher education teaching or related fields is preferred.
- A degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment that fosters growth and development for both children and staff.

Pay: $46,427.00 - $52,000.00 per year
