Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate to work with an 8 year old girl who struggles with anxiety and emotion regulation.
The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving and possess a strong understanding of various learning styles.
This role requires patience, empathy, and the ability to create a positive learning environment for students with diverse needs, including those with cognitive challenges such as dementia.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction in various subjects, ensuring comprehension and retention of material.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to meet their evolving educational needs.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding achievements and areas for improvement.
- Ability to commit to weekly hours
Experience
- Skills in social work or home health environments are a plus.
- Certification in CPR is desirable.
