The NOOK Volunteer Bucket acts as a convenient drop-off spot for anyone eager to volunteer for the NOOK. Once a resume is received, Sean will arrange a meeting with the potential volunteer to chat about the duties, scheduling, and required documentation.
At BHH, we work to change the thought process to include all social determinants of health including: mental health, substance use issues, community safety, education, economic and food security. The food security program will connect the community with our food pantry, host congregate dining, establish Ocean County's Food Recovery Network as well as providing case management support for barrier reduction, community awareness and follow-up services.
