The Senior Day Program is designed to provide a supportive environment where older adults can engage in activities that promote socialization, well-being, and independence.
Position Title: Senior Day Program Intern (Bachelor's Level)
Position Type: Internship
Position Hours: Must be available for at least two of three program days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday); Availability one additional day for program planning
Location: Bayville, NJ
Department: Senior Day Program
Responsibilities:
- Assist program staff in planning and executing daily activities for program participants
- Assist program staff with lunch preparation and organization
- Provide support and companionship to elderly participants
- Support staff in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in social work, psychology, or related field
- Must be able to commit to a flexible schedule
- Interest in working with older adults
