Are you a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with hospice experience or are willing to discover and be trained in the arena of hospice care? Are you looking for immediate employment as a Hospice Nurse?
- * This specific position is for ONCALL Monday & Tuesday evenings (5:00PM-8:30AM) and for Weekends, 24/48-hour shifts (8:30AM-8:30AM). *
- Please only apply if you are able to work the FULL SHIFT.
General Position Description:
· Gather information related to the patient and collaborate with the RN and Physician.
· Provide timely and accurate documentation of patient services to reflect plan of care.
· Provide skilled care for the remainder of the patient’s life.
· Family teaching.
· Recording and updating patients’ charts.
Requirements:
- 2 years hospice experience
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Current active and unencumbered Licensed Vocational Nurse license
- Maintain current CPR certification
- Good standing with DOJ and DMV
- Good standing vehicle insurance
- Computer keyboarding and literacy a plus for EMAR documentation
- Must be willing to travel Riverside, San Bernardino County and parts of Los Angeles Counties.
- Ensure patients are visited within the one-hour turnaround time for ONCALL visits.
