- 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
- 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
- CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field is preferred or must have completed the following courses : Introduction to the Child Care Profession, Skills and Strategies of Early Childhood and Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care.
