Job Description:
The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging and educational activities for toddlers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement curriculum-based activities that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and share information with parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and continuity in the delivery of high-quality care and education
Candidates must meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
- ~18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
- ~1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
- ~Related college level coursework or CDA coursework is required
- ~CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field is preferred
- ~Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required
