What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Age Before and After Teacher position at Bright Horizons?
Job Description
Support children aged 6 to 12 years old in our Before and After School program, providing fun projects, homework assistance, and outdoor activities.
We have part-time positions available for the Before and After School program, as well as full-time opportunities during school holidays and summer camps from mid-June to late August.
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 8:30 am and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
- Compensation: $19.00 to $23.20 per hour (dependent on education and experience).

Responsibilities
- Create and lead activities based on observations of children's interests and needs.
- Communicate daily with parents, documenting important milestones in their child's day.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom by following established procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
Candidates must meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
- Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree preferred.
- At least six months of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
