Position Overview:
The Child Care Teacher position is a key role in our organization, requiring a highly motivated and organized individual who can create a positive and supportive learning environment for young children.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a variety of engaging and educational activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of toddlers
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with parents, ensuring seamless communication about their child's daily experiences
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives
Candidates must meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
- ~18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
- ~1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
- ~Related college level coursework or CDA coursework is required
- ~CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field is preferred
- ~Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required
