Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist with food handling and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar guest service role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary standards is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive guest interactions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
